Music From/For Ukraine

We are happy to announce a unique international ethno-jazz collaboration project "Music From/For Ukraine". Authentic songs from different regions of Ukraine will be performed in original jazz arrangements by the young German musicians.

Students and graduates from the Jazz vocal faculty of the Dresden Music Academy together with their professor Daniel Mattar @mattaracapella decided to support Ukraine by creating jazz versions of the rare Ukrainian folk songs. Some of them will sound in non-authentic version for the first time. Program will be presented on April 20th at the Jazzclub Tonne @tonnedresden in Dresden.

A special guest of the program is a graduate of the faculty - a famous singer from Ukraine Victoria Leleka @leleka_music .
